Building confidence

Change is difficult to manage, so it’s crucial to understand the principles behind new ways of working before convincing others.  Agility in Mind has deep understanding of agile principles and their application in agile frameworks such as  Scrum and Kanban. Therefore, agile training courses offer delegates the opportunity to:

  • Set the desired outcomes for a change at the start.
  • Then, apply the principles learned.
  • Therefore, select an approach with the confidence that they’re doing the right thing.

Understanding the intent

Once the intent behind the framework technique or role is understood, each agile training course uses exercises to apply it.  Techniques are brought to life, such as building a backlog, establishing a minimum viable product and crafting a release plan.  Hence, people leave confident it’s possible to do things differently and to convince others of the benefits.

Knowing change is possible

Having developed confidence in a new approach we then support delegates putting it into practice.  Many of agile training courses conclude with a plan of action, therefore directly applying techniques to their own product or functional area.  Finally, materials supporting learning outcomes are made available after the course, including articles, and references.

We are an established team of business agility experts, so we have developed a full learning experience with our training portal. Pre- and post-course learning are combined with an interactive training style, hence leaveing delegates knowing how to apply the skills they’ve learned.

Furthermore, agile training courses always take an outcome-based approach. Each course has five learning outcomes, so that the content, exercises, pre-course reading and post-course resources have these in mind.  Delegates rate their confidence in these topics at the start and then, again, at the end of the course. Results are made available to delegates so that everyone sees the change in confidence within minutes of the course.
